After six days running across the Sahara desert, this year’s Marathon des Sableswinners were awarded money, glassware as well as Moroccan carpets! While competitors headed home shaking the last remaining grains of sand from bodies and packs, next year’s entrants begin the count-down to the edition in 2013.
